The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Old City, making sightseeing very convenient.
The air conditioning unit was quite noisy and creaked heavily throughout the night, hard to get restful sleep.

Pleasant location in a fairly nice area just next door to the bus stop, and the restaurant for breakfast. Reasonably priced food in the restaurant, very very good breakfast with juice and canned fruit, as for instance.
Somewhat small room.

free parking, convenient location, spacious rooms
Soundproofing is utterly lacking!!! Vacuuming at 6 am is unacceptable. Strong food odors from the dining room invading the second floor are off-putting. The aging infrastructure really needs a refresh!!!

The breakfast was delicious for western tastes and the food was excellent. Got nicely furnished and good sized economy room with view on cars as expected, greatly enjoyed it. The location was residential, marvellous close to everything in Jerusalem.

The Ambassador Hotel is located about 20 minutes, walking, from the Old City. The staff were very good and helpful. The value for the room with a balcony was excellent. The room was very large and easily accommodated two people. The hotel restaurant was excellent value for money and the servings were larger tha we expected. All the meals we had there (about 12) were delicious and we were never disappointed. The hotel is about a 6 minute walk to the new Light Rail Transit line which runs past the Old City, down Jaffa Street (shops and restaurants) with the last stop within easy walking distance of Mount Herzel and Yad Vashem (Holocaust Museum).

explore jerusalem's iconic landmarks within walking distance
staying at this hotel made my weekend strolls around jerusalem really enjoyable, especially being just a short walk from the western wall and about 500 meters from the vibrant fig tree in gan ha'atzmaut park with a lovely break among the sightseeing.

This hotel really needs to re-evaluate its standards. There was a hideous smell of food wafting from the dining room to my room. Absolutley no soundproofing either! And can you believe no special treatment for such a prestigious guest like me? It's almost like they think all guests are the same, just unacceptable.
